Engine Overheating

Has your engine overheated? If there is steam coming from your engine, or your warning light has lit up on your dashboard, it is likely your engine has run out of coolant and overheated.

A common cause of engine overheating is a blown head gasket. This in turn causes your engine to leak coolant and overheat excessively.  Jenkins can remove your cylinder head and pressure test it, to check for cracks.  If it isn't cracked, a new head gasket can be fitted and the job completed.  If it is cracked, we can fit a new or reconditioned replacement unit.
